What We Believe
· In essential beliefs – we have unity.
“There is one Body and one Spirit – just as you were called on to hope when you were called – one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and one Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.” Ephesians 4:4-6
· In non-essential beliefs – we have liberty.
“Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters.” Romans 14:1
“So then each of us will give an account of himself to God.”
Romans 14:12
“We who are strong ought to bear the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves. Each of us should please his neighbor for his good, to build him up.” Romans 15:1-2
· In all our beliefs – we show love.
“If I speak in the tongues of people and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith hat can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.”
1 Corinthians 13:1-3
