Parkside Community Church is committed to supporting mission projects and reaching out to share the good news of God’s love. We encourage members of the congregation to become personally involved in mission/evangelism work, and to support and pray for the spread of the Gospel throughout the world.
We uphold the Reformed Church in America’s Mission Statement “Intentionally crossing barriers to proclaim by word and deed the kingdom of God in Jesus Christ,” and we are challenged by God’s mandate to preach the Gospel to all the world.
“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth” Acts 1:8
Caleb and Joanna are working with the Daasanech people who are a remote, semi-nomadic people group. Caleb is working alongside his father, Dick, in expanding the windmill project used for irrigation, grinding grain, and sharpening tools. Joanna works with prenatal and immunization clinics. Together they are working to support a small band of believers and encourage the growth of the Daasanech Christians
